Our Ambulances at the Front Line

The HYGEIA ambulances are on alert 24/7 and are always prepared to respond to requests by various bodies and offer assistance during several events. The ambulance crews are qualified and experienced paramedics, who have been trained in first aid, as well as fast and safe patient transfer. To date, HYGEIA Hospital has supported various actions, dispatching fully-equipped manned ambulances to the following events:

  • A concert held at the Rematia Theater, Chalandri, to raise money for the construction of the theater that had been burnt down (June 2015)
  • The Merrython race organized by a popular website to raise money for the City of Athens Homeless Shelter (December 2015)
  • The annual run organized by the Municipality of Lykovrysi-Pefki at Morella Forest (2014)
  • The running events organized by the Feel Good Sports Club in 2014 to raise money for the Theotokos Foundation: on 23/2 in Alimos, on 30/3 in Agioi Anargyroi, on 27/4 in Ilioupoli and on 1/6 in Faliro
  • The 5k run organized by a popular website to support the efforts of the Municipality of Marousi Vulnerable Social Group Mutual Aid Fund and the Sikiarideio Foundation (2014)
  • The 1st Bike Run organized by the Municipality of Lykovrysi-Pefki (2013)
  • The Epos Run organized as part of the 32nd Epos Annual Meeting of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (April 2013)
  • The Bike Run organized by the Municipality of Filothei (June 2011)
  • The reforestation project at Tourkovounia, organized by the Association of Municipalities for the Protection & Regeneration of Tourkovounia (March 2010)
  • The basketball game between the Greek Basketball Veterans and the Veterans of the Marousi Sports Club, held at the Spyros Louis Gym, with the aim of removing the stigma and prejudice against mental health
