The 4th Structural Heart Disease Trancatheter Therapy Conference & Pre-conference Seminar for Resident & New Cardiologists was held on May 14-16, 2015 at the N. Louros Conference Center, located within MITERA Hospital.
The conference mainly aimed at bringing together the heart treatment teams with all the other specialties involved in cardiac valve repairs, ensuring optimum healthcare for Greek patients.
At the end of the conference, the participants were given the chance to assess whether certain patients with cardiac valve disease were suitable for transcatheter therapy. They also got the opportunity to evaluate imaging techniques and gained valuable knowledge that will assist them in performing transcatheter valve repairs in the future.
