For your scheduled admission<\/strong>, you will receive instructions from your attending physician. When you arrive at HYGEIA, please go to the Patient Reception & Service Department (Admissions Office) to provide your personal information and details regarding your insurance coverage.<\/p>\n

The staff at the Admissions Office will assist you in completing all necessary forms, inform you about the admission process once your insurance coverage has been arranged (if applicable), and escort you to your room to get settled in.<\/p>\n

For emergency admissions or admissions during evening hours<\/strong>, please go to the HYGEIA Outpatient Department. The staff at the Outpatient Department will inform you about the admission process and assist you in completing all necessary forms.<\/p>\n

To check in, please have the following with you: <\/h4>\n

  • Police ID or passport<\/li>\n
  • AMKA Social Security Number<\/li>\n
  • TIN<\/li>\n
  • Health insurance card or proof of insurance coverage<\/li>\n
  • Referral \/ insurance provider admission form (if the provider has a contract with HYGEIA)<\/li>\n
  • Recent medical tests and reports related to your hospitalization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If you are scheduled for surgery<\/strong>, your attending physician will inform you of the date and time of your preoperative evaluation and will simultaneously notify the HYGEIA Admissions Office, where you should arrive at the scheduled date and time. The Reception & Patient Services Representative will accompany you to the relevant departments so you can undergo the necessary tests.<\/p>\n

    Medication<\/h4>\n

    Please bring a list of the medications you are taking so that they can be taken into account for your treatment.<\/p>\n

    Diet Before Admission<\/h4>\n

    Your doctor will let you know if you should avoid eating or drinking anything before your admission.<\/p>\n

    Personal Belongings<\/h4>\n

    We recommend that you bring only the essentials, such as personal hygiene items, pajamas or a nightgown, and personal devices (cell phone, tablet, or laptop). The hospital provides hospital gowns, towels, and slippers.<\/p>\n

    For your own safety, please avoid bringing large amounts of cash, jewelry, or other valuables with you. If necessary, a service for storing personal items and luggage is available. The hospital is not responsible for valuables left in the room that have not been turned in for safekeeping.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
