In addition to providing healthcare, our goal is to protect, promote, and uphold your rights as a patient. Furthermore, we encourage you to express your personal, religious, spiritual, cultural, and other beliefs and needs.<\/p>\n<p>As a patient at HYGEIA, you have the following rights:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"pg-steps\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"pg-step-title\">Right to Respect and Dignity<\/p>\n<p>To receive care that respects your personal worth, ideas, values, and beliefs, regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, political ideology, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or any disability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"pg-step-title\">Right to Information<\/p>\n<ul class=\"pg-sub\">\n<li>To be fully and clearly informed about your health condition, diagnosis, recommended treatments, their risks and benefits, as well as alternative options.<\/li>\n<li>To receive information about the cost of care, if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>To participate in decision-making regarding your care, treatment, and services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"pg-step-title\">Right to Informed Consent<\/p>\n<ul class=\"pg-sub\">\n<li>To give your consent before any examination, treatment, or medical procedure, after you have been fully informed and all your questions have been answered.<\/li>\n<li>To refuse or withdraw your consent at any time, with full knowledge of the possible consequences of this decision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"pg-step-title\">Right to Privacy and Confidentiality<\/p>\n<ul class=\"pg-sub\">\n<li>To have your privacy protected during examination, treatment, and personal care.<\/li>\n<li>All information regarding your health is confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent, unless required by law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"pg-step-title\">Right to Choose<\/p>\n<p>To choose (when medically feasible) your attending physician, as well as to request a second medical opinion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"pg-step-title\">Right to Spiritual\/Religious Support<\/p>\n<p>To request and receive support for your spiritual or religious needs.
