Education & Academic Qualifications

Κoufomichail Vasileios was born in Athens . He  obtained his degree in Medicine at the University of SEMMELWEIS UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE  on  a Ph.D. distinction with a degree “excellent”.

He served as an Obstetrics resident in the “ELENA VENIZELOU” Maternity hospital, having spent part of his residency in “NHS Burnley Hospital ” and ‘’ Royal Free Hospital’’  in London.

He is an obstetrician, a gynecologist, a fertility specialist with training in England and in Liege in Belgium , and specialized in infertility.

He holds a Post-graduate title in  Urogynecology  and laparoscopy surgery .

He also holds a MASTER IN REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE of  Reproductive-Regenerative University of the  National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

He was founder and creator of Urogynecology Department in Maternity Hospital IASO until January 2021.

He was member of the endoscopic team in Maternity Hospital IASO having number of hysteroscopic and laparoscopy surgeries.

He is a Scientific Collaborator in the Center of Assisted Reproduction “EMBRYOGENESIS”
