Supporting the Greek Women’s Basketball Team at the Special Olympics

HYGEIA sponsored the Greek Women’s Basketball Team at the Special Olympics held in Shanghai, China, on October 2-11, 2007. The Greek team managed to beat the USA in the third place playoff, finishing third and winning the bronze medal! The 145-member national team managed to win 12 gold, 16 silver and 15 bronze medals in total at the Special Olympics.
