Supporting the Asylum for the Interminably Ill
In 2012, HYGEIA offered support to the Asylum for the Interminably Ill, a charitable foundation dedicated to caring for patients with chronic conditions, donating:
- Food, fruit and desserts for the Asylum patients and employees throughout the months of July and August
- Medications, medical supplies and cleaning products
- Furniture, hospital beds, special bedside tables, tables, computers, printers and cupboards
- A 32″ TV and a DVD for the Asylum’s common room
- A freezer
- Outdoor furniture
- Special recreational games for patients following occupational therapy
- Blood glucose test strips
