5th Surgical Department

Aside from General Surgery, a particular field of interest of the Department is Surgical Oncology and specifically, breast cancer.

The Department aims at offering comprehensive oncological services with the help and cooperation of other Oncology Departments of the Hospital.

The Department plans to put in operation a clinic of minimal intervention Breast Surgery for the diagnosing and treatment to breast conditions in one visit (Fast-Track Clinic).
