Welcomes 8 PhD students in the framework of the DECODE European Programme

MITERA, in the framework of the European Research and Innovation Programme “EU Horizon 2020 Marie Curie – DECODE”, welcomed 8 PhD students in biotechnology from various countries, who had the opportunity to attend lectures by doctors of the hospital at the MITERA Conference Center “N. Louros”.

This visit was implemented in collaboration with the International Business Intelligence (I.B.I.) Consulting Company, which managed the training of PhD students within the framework of the European DECODE Programme from 19 to 30 June 2023.

During the event, the participating students attended a constructive presentation of the latest medical developments and scientific knowledge, asked their questions and exchanged views on biological engineering, gynecological cancer, oncological surgery, and neurodevelopmental outcomes in patients with congenital heart disease.

After the lectures, the 8 students were taken on a guided tour of MITERA’s Departments, which have sophisticated medical equipment and are distinguished for the application of the most innovative diagnostic and treatment techniques, as well as for their top medical and nursing staff.
