Your Care

If your hospitalization involves surgery or an invasive procedure, your attending physician will provide you with detailed information about every stage of the process, from preparation through your recovery.

Before the procedure, the surgeon and the anesthesiologist will assess your health, review your medical history, the medications you are taking, and any allergies, and will inform you about the proposed procedure, the anesthesia, the expected benefits, the potential risks, and the available alternatives. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, and once you have been fully informed, you will be asked to sign the relevant informed consent forms.

For your safety, before the procedure begins, your identity, the scheduled procedure, the surgical site (where applicable), and all necessary information will be confirmed, in accordance with international safety practices for surgical and invasive procedures.

After the procedure, you will be transferred to a recovery room or an appropriate monitoring unit, where specialized staff will monitor your condition until you return to your room. The care team will regularly assess your pain, keep you informed about your recovery progress, and provide guidance on mobility, surgical wound care, nutrition, medication, and the instructions you should follow after discharge.

Your active participation is an important part of safe surgical care. Please notify the care team immediately if you have any questions or if you experience pain, bleeding, difficulty breathing, or any other symptoms that concern you.
