Emergency Response Team
The hospital operates Emergency Response Teams, which consist of specialized doctors and nurses and are available 24/7.
They are activated when there is concern about a possible deterioration in a patient’s condition and provide immediate clinical assessment and support, with the goal of preventing serious complications.
The alert can be triggered by:
- the attending physician,
- the nursing staff,
Seek immediate help if you notice:
- sudden difficulty breathing,
- a severe deterioration in your overall condition,
- confusion or a change in level of consciousness,
- chest pain or severe discomfort,
- any symptom that concerns you.
You don’t need to be certain that it’s a serious problem. If something seems “different” or worrisome, seek help immediately.
