95% success in treating head, neck and skull base tumors
The new radiosurgical equipment Leksell Gamma Knife ® Perfexion installed recently at the Hospital HYGEIA succeeds in the 95% of the cases at the treatment of head, neck and skull base tumors.
The Leksell Gamma Knife® Perfexion with the new stabilization technique Extend” is the latest and the most sophisticated solution in order to avoid surgical therapy of most head and neck diseases. The latest generation Gamma Knife is completely automated and has the ability to heal patients, including those with multiple brain metastases in much shorter times in comparison with other technologies.
