MITERA: Postgraduate Internship Program in Obstetric Ultrasounds

True to its vision to provide comprehensive and quality medical services, and in tune with its mission to serve the fields of research and ongoing education of the medical community, MITERA Hospital is organizing a theoretical and hands-on postgraduate internship program, aiming to train doctors on Obstetric Ultrasounds and the Main Principles of Fetal Medicine.

The Program caters for obstetricians/gynecologists – specialists or interns in the last semester of their internship – who wish to gain knowledge and experience on Obstetric Ultrasounds. It is headed by Mr Panagiotis Benardis MD, DipFetMed, IOTACert, Obstetrician/Gynecologist, Fetal Medicine & Gynecological Ultrasound Specialist, and MITERA Scientific Associate.

The Program is under the auspices of Hellenic Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The Program runs for 9 months. It is organized and carried out under the guidance the Scientific Council MITERA Hospital Scientific Council. The attendance certificates that will be distributed at the end of the Program are not considered officially recognized diplomas.

Classes commence on Monday October 7 at MITERA General, Maternity, Gynecological & Children’s Hospital.
