At HYGEIA Hospital all modern interventional methods are used for the management of congenital heart diseases and the manifestations of coronary heart disease (coronary angiography/primary angioplasty/stenting, thrombectomy techniques), along with diagnostic and interventional electrophysiological methods for managing arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation (ablation, implantation of pacemakers/defibrillators and biventricular devices).
As part of this endeavour, the Heart Team is an organised multidisciplinary cardiac team that focuses on resolving complex and controversial heart conditions, specialising mainly in transcatheter repair or replacement of heart valves. Prominent physicians have introduced the most sophisticated techniques and methods to Greece, raising the level of care for heart disease patients. The highly trained nursing staff provide quality care to patients, while HHG Group’s doctors have the latest technological equipment at their disposal in order to provide reliable and high-quality health services for the management of cardiovascular diseases.
